I would like to get an appraisal for this wall cabinet.

I bought it in Hanau Germany in 1982. It has a top piece which sits on the bottom piece. It had a bar on one side with a mirror in back and black glass shelf with one drawer under the shelf. It looks like a beatiful red colored wood on the inside of the whole unit. The glass is rounded and it looks like it was handpainted in a gold type of paint. It has a pleated backing in a diamond pattern in some type of material, it looks like vinyl in a green/gold color. It has glass shelves in the middle of the piece. It also has four skeleton keys. The outside of the piece is stained very dark. Two doors on each side are done in what looks like a tiger maple with a clear shalack over the top.

Get a "french cleat" at a hardware store screw the cleat to the wall hitting every stud you can. Use wood screws (never use drywall screws as they are too brittle and have a tendency to break)(may also be illegal to use drywall screws in your area for anything but hanging drywall). Attach the otherside of the cleat to the mirror.

Do be sure to screw those hinges into the studs.
(A plaster wall or sheet rock won't support the table for long.)
You might consider some sort of folding legs for the outer edge of the table that would be part of the 'frame` when it's vertical.

Oh lord – I avoid mirrors like the plague. Damm things lie and I've always hated a lier. Further to that, I always make sure that I'm the one behind the camera and run for the hills every time I see one pointed my way. I thank my lucky stars for the day when we got rid of our wall to wall mirror in the bathroom. Who puts a mirror like that in a BATHROOM fer cryin' out loud. Must have been a man is all I can say.

I would try to get in as many studs as I could. Another thing to consider is making a stand for it, have the mirror sitting on the stand so that it's at the right hight, and then anchoring it to the wall so that it can't fall over.
