large round mirror
Looking for modern full length mirror?
Hi Everyone,
I am in the process of switching apartments with my parents and decided to update the bathrooms. I changed everything in the half bath to brushed nickel and I am having a hard time finding a brushed nickel framed full length mirror for the bathroom. Does anyone know where I can find one? Or do you think it will be fine if I just got a full length beveled mirror?
I will try to describe the bathroom the best I can. It is a large half bathroom with a vanity, toilet bowl and large cabinet with sink. The vanity and all cabinet space is black with a beige/grey wall, beige tiled floor, white bowl sink, white toilet, brushed nickel round mirror over vanity, square brushed nickel regular mirror over sink. I want the full length mirror for the wall opposite the sink.

You know what----mirrors are not expensive.
Call a glass shop and tell them what you want. They can usually cut the glass to order, deliver and install it cheaper than you can order one from a furniture store. I used to work as a designer for a high end furniture store and I was always appalled at how expensive good mirrors were. My husband is a general contractor and we do mirrors for very expensive residential bathrooms (framed and unframed) all the time and the cost is a fraction of what the furniture store charged. Plus, you can order exactly what you want--if you can describe it or draw it--they can make it for you.
I had custom mirrors installed in my modern kitchen as a backsplash and also had a custom corner mirrored unit with 1/2 inch glass display shelves above my corner sink---whole cost? About $400 including installation--and that's a whole lot more glass and complicated installation than one single glass mirror like you're talking about. I've seen framed mirrors in catalogs go for upwards of $1000.00.
