round wall mirror What fixings do i need for these mirrors and shelves..?`?
I have a handyman coming next week to put up two mirrors and shelves for me... I want to make sure I have the fixings I need as they dont have any wall fixings with them from what i can see... The walls are all concrete walls and the mirrors have round loops on each side at the back... The shelves are ikea lack floating shelves... What should i buy in advance to make sure he has everything he needs to complete the jobs..? You need picture wire that connects to the D rings. That's what the mirrors will hang from. You'll need to know roughly how much the mirrors weight so you buy the right wire. You will also need Cement anchors since your wall is cement. Also the screws that go in the anchors - enough for the shelves and the mirrors. You'll need a drill bit for the cement, a level, a hammer, measuring tape, pencil. I would go to the closest hardware store, they can help you with everything you need.

actually right now mirrors w/o frames ARE stylish..... but you might want to somehow mount it a little bit forward, kinda like 3D. this is a contemporary and stylish look!! hope this helps!!!!
round wall mirror Mirror Removal - Stuck with 'No-Nails'?
Hiya, I'm redecorating one of the bedrooms at the house we're about to move to, and the donut who lived there previously (my dad!) in his wisdome has stuck a mirror (no frame just a big round glass mirror) direct to the wall (over wallpaper) with no nails, any idea's on how to remove it minimising the risk of shattering the mirror?

Go to the hardware and get a few feet of "piano wire". Slip the wire behind the mirror and GENTLY saw back and pull the wire down. If it's stuck on wallpaper the only thing your going to lose is the wallpaper and maybe a little wall damage.
Be sure and put tape all over the mirror (to hold the pieces in case it breaks) and please wear safety glasses and gloves.

I bought it in Hanau Germany in 1982. It has a top piece which sits on the bottom piece. It had a bar on one side with a mirror in back and black glass shelf with one drawer under the shelf. It looks like a beatiful red colored wood on the inside of the whole unit. The glass is rounded and it looks like it was handpainted in a gold type of paint. It has a pleated backing in a diamond pattern in some type of material, it looks like vinyl in a green/gold color. It has glass shelves in the middle of the piece. It also has four skeleton keys. The outside of the piece is stained very dark. Two doors on each side are done in what looks like a tiger maple with a clear shalack over the top.
