I like the interior, but I agree with dsgnr, Herr Wagener needs to send his staff home earlier every day, before they have time to carve more swages and bustles into their designs. I also don’t get the giant square mirrors on a round car, either (not to mention to fussy treatment of the turn signals in them). I look at cars like the W123, W124, W126 and W220 and they all have that timelessness that Bruno Sacco did so well. I miss him, and wish they had never let the truck designer run the whole house.
