silver wall mirror College writting on a descrptve essay. Can u please crituque my paragraph?
Carrying a box of dishes, I stepped inside first entering the living room which is carpeted in spinach green. My self I don’t much like the color of the carpet, but told myself it can be replaced. The white walls are bordered with a floral pattern against a green background. On the wall were two decorative mirrors with a frosty silver background with a green and gold pattern. On both sides of the living room are windows, the window on the right side over looks the back yard and back view of the creek.
This is a British English take on your work, so you may think it's a bit fussy, and not quite what you require, but I think it's worth considering.
Carrying a box of dishes, I stepped inside; first entering the living room which is carpeted in spinach green. Needs a semi-colon to establish meaning i.e. "I stepped inside; first entering ..." or "I stepped inside first; entering ..."
My self I don’t much like the color of the carpet, but told myself it can be replaced. I don't like this use of "myself" but if you must use it like this, it's one word and should be followed by a comma. You may wish to consider: "I, personally, don’t much like the color " or "I, myself, don’t much like the color " but "I don’t much like the color " seems preferable to me.
"but told myself it can be replaced." Your mixing of past and present tenses is just about OK apart from this. You could have: but told myself "It can be replaced." or better: but told myself that it could be replaced.
The white walls are bordered with a floral pattern against a green background. I would prefer: " a floral pattern on a green background."
On the wall were two decorative mirrors with a frosty silver background with a green and gold pattern. You are in the past tense again, which I think is arguably acceptable because the mirrors are easily removable, but decide what you want, in line with what you have been taught.
On both sides of the living room are windows; I think a semi-colon is preferable.
the window on the right side over looks overlooks is one word.
the back yard, I would put a comma here, but I use a lot of commas.

The silvering might not be good quality. I have installed mirors for many years, using all kinds of adhesive, but the trick is to get a good quality mirror. A frame is a good idea, then you can screw thru the frame into the wall.
Maybe Amazon has your elusive Ark of the Covenant? I mean, lamp? I know it’d suck to go without a lamp for awhile but at least you get precisely what you need.
Impressive. If only I had that much free time to spare, I would do something like that. I'm glad someone else does it for me. I've always liked mirrors and someday I'm gonna build a room with nothing but mirrors as walls.
Yeah, stop trying to pull the mirrors off the wall, you have obviously weakened the mount causing it to fall. No wonder the landlord is worried that his house is okay.
well, the mirror is basically a reflection of what you see of yourself, someone with less self confidence is more likely to see themselves as uglier and a hot-shot will see themselves higher and more beautiful. the woman sees herself in the present as she is older and she can apparently see the years upon her face, and she reminisces on the days when she was young and beautiful, and that girl has disappeared inside the old woman. The terrible fish is showing that she sees herself as slimy and gross and only used for show and never really appreciated.
What is it about mirrors? Back in the day I used to hear people say to avoid mirrors at all costs when frying. I eventually got so curious once, I grabbed a full size wall mirror, dropped acid and sat cross legged staring at myself for hours. It was interesting but not much more. Did I miss something?

You have given this a lot of thought, that is good. You have so many options you are bound to have something for everyone. Have a great birthday and many more. Via con Dios.
If You are pretty handy, You could do it yourself, 2 people,,mark and mount the lower mount on the studs using your level to get it straight,,the position the mirror on the lower mount and place the top mount in place and mark the holes on the wall studs, fasten it and its done
The large suction cup tool helps a lot to lift and carry mirrors around
1 – Listen to Loreena McKennitt sing this, it's on YouTube. Close your eyes. The images that come to mind when she sings will clue you in on where the imagery is in the poem. 2 – Use Wikipedia, look up similie and metaphor. They aren't that hard to find but you need to understand what they are. Just having someone circle them for you on your homework isn't going to help you. You'll just become dependent on other people to fill your mind with thoughts. 3 – Google "king arthur" and read about the legend and myth, to better understand the motivations behind the Lady of Shalott. That will help you understand how the character and narrator are personified in the poem. Good luck. I know Yahoo Answers can be helpful for homework, and you'll get a mix of people spoon feeding you answers, and people calling you names. So I'm trying to show you how to fish vs. giving you a fish. That's a metaphor
Then deadlift 5-5-5, 100-120-130(x3)F, my grip didn't hold up!
Then 1 x15
WOD: Fran as rx'd 21-15-9
40kg thrusters and pull ups
Time: 7:49
What can I say, I felt a bit nauseous when I saw this wod posted. Today was a big moment for me with my training. I know the time isn't even close to the times that fire breathers post, but my previous and best fran time was 5:52 and that was with 30kg and scaled to 9 sets of 5 reps.
So while all sets were broken, I am very happy and there was no room for kipping as the wall and mirror too close (of course!), not that I have much of a kip anyway and is something else for me to get going. And knock this time on it's arse!
Anyway enough soapboxing, but I have to thank the jase and stef for the programming/training they prescribe, I am in geraldton for another week and plan to do some training in a real gym facility!
