WOW!! You have been busy. Very classy. I would extend the eye to the area beside the fireplace (planter,big Pier One stuff). I second the suggestion of an oval mirror with silver/red in the frame and changeable mantle “chatchkies” (sp?)repeating the red. Can you spell M-u-r-a-n-o? MOMM

I talked with one who says she is a vampire so I asked some questions too. I had to be careful because real vampires don't want to talk about it and I didn't want her to think I was making fun of her. She is very nice and told me there are two kinds of vampires. One drinks blood from willing donors over the age of 18 and the other kind feeds off other peoples energy but if a vamp doesn't know how to stop they can actually kill some one. I'd love to do that to my ex-husband. It's too complicated though and he's not worth going to hell for. Good luck on your book! That is very cool of you. I love to read.

its a button called a reset button. so if you don't know how to use it look it on your instruction booklet if you have difficullty using it. be care full do not break it ok.

Honestly, this isn't very good. Your concept is interesting, but the pacing is way too slow and the narrator is basically saying, "I live in a world that is way better than yours! And I am special! Love me!"

The problem is, people don't want to read about someone special and awe-inspiring. They want to read about someone they can identify with who turns out to be special, because we all secretly want that to happen to us.
They also don't want to wade through four paragraphs of description before anything actually happens. You have to hook your audience with the first sentence.

Now if you started off with something like this, it might work better:

"You are not what you think you are."
The voice was so loud and so clear that it jerked me from sleep. I sat up, heart pounding, and looked around. The room was empty, just like it had been when I woke last night, and the night before.
This dream was starting to worry me.
I could see that the sun was already beginning to rise, so I got up and went to the window that looked out over the city. The glow of the magma river still lit the trees along its banks, but the higher buildings were already catching the sun, flaring brilliant red and orange like the flames that gave birth to my people.
Bellisema Vertown, my beloved City of Fire. I would gladly lay down my life in its defense.

That's just my re-interpretation, of course.

Photocopier/high speed scanners tended to use a slightly to moderately conductive coated platen glass if they had ADF or RADF document handlers. As the static charge was wreaking havoc of several sorts. Paper showed “stiction” to the glass and dust was electrostatic field drawn to the glass. Scrapped platen glasses thus could be a not unobtanium source for conductive glass. Same with some “Low E” energy efficient window glasses. Metal Vapor Deposition is edgy for home tech folks but Mirror Silvering is not totally impossible if the chemical hazards are respected.

Just had a random idea about the mirror thing;

Maybe a freshly turned vampire actually HAS a reflection, but as they feed off of more and more people, their reflections become less substantial, as the blood that flows around them becomes less and less their own…

*shrugs* Just a thought!

As for the others, no idea I'm afraid, haven't really thought about it!

I assume that the colour you are referring to is gold right? I don't think markers will have this kind of gold cause it's like a reflective-mirror-type gold? And I don't know whether this gold paint/marker even exists.. I've heard that some modellers spray a really reflective/mirror silver on the whole frame and spray really fine orange onto it to create this colour and you would need an airbrush. But even that mirror-reflective silver is hard to find. Tell me if I'm wrong.
