   I have a white sofa but do LOVE colored ones. When I go other peoples houses I fall in love with the different colors and think why don’t I do something fun. I love the pink one on your post with the gold mirror and somehow that last one with the boys with bikes reminds me of my neighborhood. LOL! But I always go back to white because I am not tied to a color and when I want to change the color of my room – I just pop it with different pillows. Especially coming into fall a chocolate brown mohair sofa would be nice, or a navy blue velour, or something in leather, and the list goes on and on…! This is why I love slip covers (the fitted ones) because you can change your sofa as much as you want. I’m not talkig the cheesy ones LOL! But there is nothing better than a tight upholstered sofa with a pop of color.

   I love that. It's sounds like one of my poems. *Not trying to say anything* but it does… so depressing yet not so much if you take a deeper look at it.

   That's what I love about poetry. It can reflect whatever you want it to but only you will know the exact meaning. I love how it's an interpretation of feeling and emotion and how sometimes you don't even need a diary entry, all you need it to joint down a poem and you'll feel better.

   But nonetheless, that was nothing short of remarkable. I loved your use of words and phrases to give it a slightly double meaning. *to me at least* Beautiful job!

    the first big paragraph is a little… slow… try to keep up the pace without going to fast or running on and on. The Key to writing is to keep the reader interested, dont build up to a climax if you can help it. Have a main event happen soon in your writing.
    Hope that helped.
    Other than that it is great! Keep at it and you will find yourself at a book signing soon enough.

    well it didn't quite work out as intended. i was hoping that its shininess would not change much at high pressure so I would have something from which to calculate the amount of energy absorbed in the diamond as the infrared beam passed through it….by comparing the gold under the diamond to a gold mirror at normal pressure I could figure this out. Unfortunately the gold changed a lot under pressure, and also it got sodium on it so it became worthless *sigh* oh well. It was fun using it anyway.

    ooh Frances, I love the gold mirror in the pictures. I mean, covet type love. I won't even ask where you got it because it's either an heirloom, or a really good find from somewhere I'm sure. Your Christmas mantel is awesome. I can't wait to see what you will do this year!

    More than you realize! Since beer signs are hard to come by, the price goes straight up. The bar or restaurant owner probably had to pull teeth to even get it in the first place. And technically the signage has to go back to the beer distributor, but I got a pass since mine were stolen from my old restaurant. They're rare, don't sell it for $100 even if it doesn't work. It's worth much more! If you're looking at ebay, try selling it for the same price as the lighted one. I bet someone out there is willing to fix it up.
