   1) the first statement was for any class of camera, not a P&S vs DSLR comparison, I mean anyone who uses any camera for photography. No advancement in camera technology will ever substitute true vision and skill. (especially the vision part)

   i liked it.

   it is deep and i understand what you mean.

   it seems you put a lot of time and effort and that something in your life must have impacted or compelled you to write such a beautiful poem.

   i like how it doesnt rhyme because it gives me a chance too actually read word for word and try to analyze and understand

   i like how its repetitive because it makes the poem seem like your soul searching and i believe those really imapct ppl the most and make them think:)

   Breaking the side view mirror of your vehicle can be frustrating. However, it doesn’t have to be costly every time. You can now save money by buying the Mirror Glass Replacement parts yourself and skip on the labour costs altogether.

   Dr. Klein, for once I agree with you. In particular, I have never understood why grab bars are not standard in ALL bathrooms. Younger people can fall, too, and in a room with a hard floor and lots of hard surfaces (tub, sink, etc.) and protruberances (taps, towel bars, etc.) and glass (mirrors, cup, sometimes still bottles), a bathroom fall can be particularly catastrophic at any age. (My gym has absolutely nothing to grab onto in the shower — not even the soapdishes are suitable as an emergency handhold — and much as I love the place, this is scary.) Grab bars don’t cost that much and they’re not that hard to install.

   Jerk-Offs

   There’s a stillness to the city this evening. The buses and cabs and cars glide by like dreams. The sidewalks are almost empty: just Amy and me walking to dinner in a haze of well-being. We’re holding hands. We’re wearing our Dick Cheney and Sarah Palin masks. Amy is telling me which photo she liked the best. “The girl pissing in the elevator. That was so naughty.”

   “Did it turn you on?”

   “Oh my, did it ever.”

   I squeeze her hand. We step through the revolving door, Amy first but me right after, into the same tight wedge of space. I hold her shoulders, stopping her. “What if we were stuck here?” I say. She chuckles. Turns. Kisses me. The masks make the kiss a little strange. When the kiss stops, I start it up again.

   “But I did like the roses,” she says, when finally we revolve out into the lobby. “That was sweet of you. You’re my sweet guy. My hero man.”

   The lobby is so posh. Everything is chrome and glass and mirrors. Arm in arm Amy and I stroll to the elevator banks. “It’s on the top floor,” I tell her, pressing the button to summon an elevator. Waiting, we kiss again. The doors open. We step in. The car is not empty. Sarah Palin and Dick Cheney stare at us. Amy looks at me and frowns. Sarah Palin looks at me and frowns.

   “I’m sorry,” I tell Sarah and Dick, “but this is a private car. You’ll have to get out.”

   Cheney harrumphs. “Do you know who we are?”

   “Do you know who we are?” I echo. I touch my fingers to their throats. They sag swiftly to the floor.

   “How long will they be out?” Amy asks.

   “Long enough to fulfill your fantasy,” I tell her. “If we hurry.”

   “Oh, goodie,” she says. I can see her smile through her mask. Such a naughty smile.

    Hi Kirsten. Not quite the same but very similar. I love the bow detail on the one you spotted! Ours just has a pattern on the glass and on the mirror inside. We got it from a lovely guy on freecycle – and it's one of my 'haven't quite decided what I'll do with it' projects… Sometimes I think it would be nice to paint it red and other times I think it's fine just the way it is and I shouldn't spoil it!

    Thank you 1001101101101. I knew once the words left my mouth that I was misremembering the Matrix. I checked out the Wikipedia page on Animatrix and now know that it was sentient computers run amok that killed the humans except the ones used as their energy source.

    BTW The Matrix also uses the Through the Looking Glass and Mirrors motif throughout the films. That's probably where the Lost writers got their idea.

    There is one thing that bothers me. 1001101101101 is a binary number like a computer would use. You aren't trying to tell me something I hope. I would be for a bad battery source.

    no more looking at the world through a glass mirror. Bersedialah nak rasa pahit manis nak mencari nafkah sara hidup diri sendiri. hahahaha……!!!
    apa2pun.. my best advise.. be aware of your finances onces u start working.

    Please avoid all sort of hutang2 services as much as possible. Rite now, (soon), you want to start saving money and not spending it away so, no credit cardS. 1 credit card with low limit should be okay, just for emergency cases. Start a life insurance (with withdrawal like a life savings) and etc.

    Put away some cash for savings.

    The rest.. pandai2 lar budget..
    I learnt the hard way.. ahhahaha…

    okay–
    you need to simplify the exercise.
    doing james bond and arnold are forms of 'mimicry'–not real acting.
    acting is authentic in the moment, personal and using the imagination in a REAL way.
    Meisner says 'acting is the reality of doing'.
    you have to actually DO in this exercise, not "entertain"/ goof off. it looks like you're going for the spoof laugh.
    here's an idea:
    you've got a hot date. you're very excited (if you start to sing, let it happen in the moment spontaneously). then, notice a PIMPLE on your face. do your best to get rid of it…pop it, shave it, put toothpaste on it, make-up on it…
    then, call her on your cell phone, and tell her you have to cancel because (make up reason on the spot; we do it all the time).
