Trying to get a wood frame mirror or a resin frame mirror for the bathroom. Would a wood frame mirror meant for the wall survive the humidity of the bathroom??. Also do resin frames look just as good? I mean are they good quality.
If you protect the wood it will do just fine. Resin frames have come a long way and sometimes it is hard to tell them apart for a bit of a distance. But. wood is still wood and resin will always be and feel like plastic. Go with good wood, seal the wood well before staining it and than protect it with clear finish Good Luck with your project!

How do I remove mirror paint? I want to remove the paint in the center, to then place a photo. ?
This sounded really cool when I read about it, I bought a lot of framed mirrors at a flea market cheap, and want to do different removal designs and then tape the photos where there would then be plain glass, so far I have tried paint thinner, acetone, a razor blade isn't enough, and it scratches the glass sometimes.
I think you can use paint stripper. It was on Decorating Cents about 2 years ago, but the mirror retailer is probably the correct answer.
I am very sorry, but it doesn't really make sense. If this isn't the beginning of the scene, then it would probably make more sense. If not, I'm totally missing something! You should read it over a few times, the edit it a few times. I'm really sorry about that!
nice how much did you bench when you were 14? askibng cuz Im 14 and benching 225lb and trying to do 315 by the time Im 16(Im going for reps until my b-day)
Bathrooms and kitchens are the place where you can get the most bang (and return) for your remodelling dollars.
Paint it a deeper taupe, and keep all the trim and woodwork white. The new bath with stand out nicely. Update the fixtures to a nickel or black-ish color to give it an updated contemporary feel. Change that wall hanging and add some new towel colors or a rug to give it a fresh look.
You can probably spend between $100-200 and have a bathroom that feels brand new. Behr paint at Home Depot is some of the most highly-rated on the market, and this weekend (and most holiday weekends) you can get a $5 mail-in rebate per gallon.
You may want to prime the bathroom with somethink like Kilz that would be a water-proof primer that would greatly reduce the chances of mold or mildew, since the bathroom is a high moisture room. You can prime it and be painting later the same day. Prime one morning, do a first coat of paint that afternoon, and do a second coat the next morning.
Grab a funky piece of (cheap) art at Target or Michaels, and use that as a focal point for some towel accent colors. If you go with black fixtures, a black frame on the wall would “pop.”
If you want to get really creative and make it look a little higher end, take that regular mirror down, and get a large framed mirror piece at Hobby Lobby. Those are on sale all the time.
You can even change the light fixtures and still spend less than a couple hundred. I'd have to find the exact numbers, but you should get a nearly 1 to 1 return on your investment for every dollar you spend in the bathroom.
Yo Jimbo!Love the Commandments! You should get it airbrushed onto some framed mirrors. Bar swag!As far as Commandment VIII, when can we expect our care packages? Peace yo!G-LO
If the car came out the factory with two wing mirrors, then the answer if yes. Check out ebay for replacement mirror glass, they are cheap and easy to fit. Ja.
Alright lets see what I can help to suggest. First it seems like it is a really clever idea, something different if I've read correctly. But it is confusing, I had to re-read and wonder how many other people this girl is. My first suggestion would be to ditch the first person. Because it seems to me (and I could be mislead) that these girls all share one body, and when not being used they are shoved away inside the mind. See the problem with this is you aren't being consistent with the character, just narrating whoever is dominant presently. I would either pick one of these girls or just go omniscient on all them in third person. I think it would make it flow better. Second do not be afraid to be obvious blunt, if you want it across don't be mysterious. Tell the reader what you want them to know for the most part. Of coarse for a good story not everything is going to be revealed but don't be afraid to point some things out. (Most everything you take time to write in a story should have a purpose later.)
At one point you write: "Because Mom and Dad warned you that you are not to go out in your natural appearance, that its dangerous." I would elaborate on that. A memory so reason why this is dangerous. Because I have no clue from reading that. Telling why it is dangerous might give the reader some clue as to what is going on.
Again I'm trying to keep in mind this is only an excerpt, and for that I can't give you a truly clear idea at this. If I understood more about these girls, perhaps I could help more. I hope I helped (you did say you wanted harsh criticism).
Hi yep he's been in to see a doctor and surgeon actually yesterday…He needs surgery to repair the gland but it wont be for like another 3 weeks or so due to cutbacks and such in our area. DO NOT USE! ALLEN DAVIS HIRES ILLEGAL ALIENS WHO ONLY SPEAK SPANISH; OTHERS WERE HOMELESS HELP THAT REEKED OF URINE… WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER WITH ALLEN DAVIS MOVING SYSTEMS!! THIS IS ALL TRUE AND ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO ME…
We hired mr. allen davis JR. for a long distance move in march 2009. he sounded trustworthy, cordial and reliable over the phone. but come moving day: DON'T!!! he promised to bring all necessary packing materials, but only showed up with a roll of flimsy KITCHEN SARAN WRAP!(see pics above) he even angrily chastised me to 'go out and buy your own brown wrapping paper AND pay for it out of your own pocket!!' when i complained to him.
allen davis had NONE of the standard bubble wrap, wardrobe boxes, cardboard boxes, disassembling tool kit or even the quality brown wrapping paper(NORMALLY ALL supplied by PROFESSIONAL movers)promised over the phone to cushion and safeguard my things for the 500 MILE trip…all to cut corners, and make allen davis lots of $$$$$ for himself. Of course, come things got banged up(see pics above). He treats his paying first-time patrons like myself like caca. Kids, can you say, 'Why you such a CHEAPSKATE with your clients!??”
Also, there was no direct supervision of his moving men over the move as allen davis sits in his van during moves; smelt old urine when one of them walked by me each time. Other guys were ILLEGAL ALIENS who ONLY speak Spanish; all were clearly untrained and were clueless in how to wrap up items; to make it worse, Davis ONLY provided them with kitchen saran wrap and dirty blankets!! Makes them work 6 hours straight w/o breaks; violates ALL labor laws; federal and state….
LIVE GIANT 3-inch cockroaches found in my bags crawled out into my new apt. kitchen after being stored overnight in his moving van. (see pics above) I did Not have a pest problem before the move. Must be allen davis' hired buddies bumming a ride…LOL
Worst of all, took and kept two of my 20 year old antique gold-framed mirrors when he left property. (see pics above); boy, I miss those two mirrors…wonder if they're being held for a hefty ransom??
Then, allen davis TWICE demanded I pay him an additional $120.00 for 'waiting around!' this is AFTER I already paid him $2500!!
BOTTOM LINE: if you are searching for a qualified mover, hire ONLY BBB-approved PROFESSIONAL Movers….allen davis moving systems IS NOT one of them and NOT VERY Professional!! DO NOT make the SAME mistake!…. shop smart…think BBB businesses FIRST….and of course, do read others' moving reviews…and hey, you all-DON'T EVER pay a mover $2500.00 for kitchen saran wrap and ABUSIVE RUDE AND STINGY service and you won’t get screwed…..Tommy
