   If intuitive reasoning has not been well defined is symbolic reasoning far behind?

   Let me suggest that there is no such thing as intuitive reasoning, as you are attempting to scope it. And is symbolic reasoning a normal human function? Some study is showing that what we claim is cold logic is being processed on emotional sites in the brain.

   True human inspiration and intuition exist outside the box of human reason on a spiritual plane. If one does not accept this; the alternative is to put all of human reason in a vertical compression stuff sack.

   This is not to say that rational intuition does not exist. Human mental function is not linear and we do not consciously open and close the circuits.

   Pathways are connected without our direct control or conscious tracing. In real time this comes forth as mental intuition or inspiration tied to genetic information or the so-called collective consciousness.

   What I see among scientists is the principal that anything which exists must have an explanation./ Anything that can't be explained doesn't exist.
   The old saw between empiricism and rationalism.

   The label "intuitive reasoning" is just another attempt to keep things in the comfort plane of physical or explained existence; or perhaps elevate reason to the throne of a god.

   Reason and the five senses relate to the physical world. If you do not accept another sense and/or another world you must make
   everything fit the electro-chemical construct.

   An interesting question. If I didn't know what I know; I would have to say intuition is hardwired. The only difference between monkey and man is the amount of wiring.

   To me faith is pure intuition and superior to symbolic reason. Look around. Symbolic reason is only producing things which destroy the quality of life or life itself.

   My answer: The precise difference is that they take place on different levels. Symbolic and emotional (low level intuition) takes place in the physical world. High level intuition takes place in the spiritual plane. Reason can go before or follow after but can never be in the instant.

   Well, what an article! i especially liked where he said America could have made a chunk of the world into a parking lot and didn't, and this was a strength. The anti-Americans have had the loudest voices this far but the friends of America are the majority and maybe it's time to speak out and support them. Well done Sir for bringing it to our attention…God Bless America and the United Kingdom….I'm a uk citizen(Scotland) Thanks for being our friends USA….

   Iv'e just read( Resortcaroline)and i didn't copy the part of her answer( for the record ) the part about the majority of voices so we have both been thinking the same way…..

   Intuitive reasoning is something you know even before you really study a thing, kind of by intuition, you know. Symbolic reasoning takes a degree of thought and relative reasoning on what a thing means to you by its shape and size and texture what it resembles and so on. It's really not that obscure

   Try checking to see if there is a button on the keyboard that will switch from the laptop monitor to the external one. there usually is. Go ahead and boot up and sign in, and then press that button/series of buttons. Try it on your computer first to see how it works. You can log in the same way you do on yours, just do it without using the mouse, since you can't see.

   He didn't define these because he can't.

   We already know that it is essentially impossible to e.g. understand what it is like to be a fly (good paper on this). When you start playing with the sensorium, you can't really relate anymore as a human.

   As to symbols being used by animals? I agree, this is probable.

   Don't forget that just because someone is rational and a good writer and claims to be a scientist, does not mean that they understand that science includes not randomly coining terms and using them as if they mean something specific, when they are little more than conjectures and thought experiments.

   Good topic though. I suggest looking into evolutionary psychology, sociobiology, and other such areas if you are interested.

   D. Dennett (Darwin's Dangerous Idea) and Stewart & Kohen (Figments of Reality) come to mind as people who have played with this stuff and who are actually almost real scientists.

   As I mentioned, there’s no automatic mirroring, so to perform display mirroring you’ll have to do it yourself – i.e. ensure that any drawing/updates which occur on the internal screen are explicitly duplicated on the external one.

    Freedom thinker, the problem is you only view freedom from your point of view.
    Muslims are not evil people to be destroyed just because they happened to be born into that religion.

    I've looked into this on google and it may be an issue with your video card. Try going into Device Manager (click START, type device manager), expand the Monitors option. Is there 2? It may be because that one is for your graphic's card, and the phantom one is for your motherboard's graphic chipset. Try disabling the second one. You may also be able to do this in Control Panel > Monitors.

    It may also be worth updating your graphics card drivers to the latest version. If you don't know what card you have, click START and type dxdiag . It will tell you in the window that pops up, then search the manufacturer's site for the latest drivers.

    1. She means, in that last blacks would be convicted without much thought, regardless of whether they were guilty or not. But this time, the jury stayed out and deliberated for a few hours. Even though Tom was still found guilty, at least it was am improvement in the right direction.

    2. Hypocrisy and rudeness. They indirectly insulted Atticus in his own house and in front of his sister. Ms Maudie shut them up withna very shrewd statement.

    3. The editorial likened Tom's death to the slaughter of songbirds by hunters and children. I.e. Mockingbirds. It refers to the central lesson that Atticus taught them in Chp 9.
