Hi, I have been feeling a bit creative latley.. I broke a large mirror I have, but didn't want to through it away..
I have one of those small round 3 legged tables accent tables in my living room.. mine doesen't have just the plywood or wood top, mine has a formica top, with tiny littlee specs of a gold/ butterscoth color to it...
I want to use the pieces of the broken mirror in a mosaic fashion to go on the table top.. If I use grout, You can't see the natural pattern on the table. I want to use and adhesive, and maybe a clear epoxy or gloss or something.. when I laid the mirror pieces on you can feel that they aren't quite even.. so I need a filler that is clear...
I don't want to cover the hole thing up, I just want a little bit to show through ,..and it will look very elegant when complete..

Craft stores sell an epoxy that you mix up and poor onto the surface. It is self-leveling so the surface will be smooth even though your mirror pieces are on top of the original surface. It creates a beautiful high gloss surface that is very durable.

i use OPI and Sally Hansen nail polish... so personally since i know the brand, i would recommend Sally Hansen. Maybelline and Revlon are probably really good too, though.

do they HAVE to be backwards, will it not work if it isn't backwards? my printer doesn't have "mirror image" and i cant use word art or anything because its a symbol with words on it. so i cant use paint, or anything like that, it has to be Microsoft word. but i dont have mirror image!!!!! what do i do!!!!??!?!?
it depends what type of iron-on you're using. usually when it says to choose mirror image in the directions then you do have to choose it in order for it to work correctly, but there are some iron-ons that you don't have to do mirror image
