So, I found a local decorator and was wondering if her prices were good. Compared to my other option they are - I've pretty much exhaused my options as to looking around for others in my area. I'm just curious what you all think, these are what I would be interested in using:

Hi Jenni, this is a very good question and I'm going to try to give you a common sense type answer, Two things, what is the height of your mirror and is there a light on the wall above your mirror? Or just a light on the ceiling? If you have ceiling only lumes, and your mirror is 18 to 26 inches in height, the mirror might be as much as 8 to 10 inches above vanity. Just keep in mind a person who 4 foot 2 would like to see a much as a tall person. If mirror is 42 inches or more, about 1 to 2 inches off vanity is very smart looking. Never mount mirror right on vanity due to cleaning and periodic repair of caulk that should be around your vanity. If you have a light on the wall try to balance a smaller size mirror (18 to 26) between the vanity and light, usually about 6 to 8 inches above vanity. And if by chance you got a tall one (36 to 42 and more) about 1 inch off vanity looks great and really opens up the room. Good luck, sorry about long reply. I'm just anal that way. jim...

Cabinet mirror any advice for installing a new bathroom medicine cabinet?
my girlfriend wants a new medicine cabinet (the kind with a mirror the goes over the bathroom sink). I foolishly said "thats easy, i can do it for you." it is not recessed so can i just go to Home Depot and have her pick one out? Is it easy just to screw into the wall? Any thing i should watch out for? Help!!!
It is fairly easy. I locate the studs in the wall, predrill some holes in the cabinet to correspond with stud locations and use screws to attach it to the wall.
I would be the pro that gets the calls, have done it many times.
